Why does my holden vectra stall

The first day after the repair, in the car would stall at the lights unless the air conditioning was left on. I was told by the mechanic that the car just needed to 'get used to the new device', but over time the problem has become worse.

The car now occasionally stalls while stationary regardless, but just as frustrating, the revving on the tachometer is inconsistently high, which is making it harder to brake as it feels like the car is pulling against me.

Usually after freeway driving but also uphill driving, the revs sit around just over when stationary and the car sounds loud and shakes a bit. In neutral it climbs between revs, again, far too high. Finally, on the freeway the revs tend to drop away sharply rather than smoothly when I take my foot off the acceleration pedal, leading to a sharp loss of speed and problems trying to keep a consistent speed.

Do you have any ideas on what the problem might be? Please note: Questions cannot be answered privately. The ignition light stays on and it starts straight away. It actually appears to stop when we hit a bump, which suggests a bad connection in the wiring but tapping, pulling etc produces nothing definitive.

The computer says it has a Cam Sensor Fault, however changing that only made it worse, so I changed back to the original. I also had another look with another computer different dealer which showed no data coming from the Mass Air Flow Meter and Sensor. To be honest, it feels like the fuel is being cut off, but not sure what signals would do that. Got a question for Drive's experts?

So without this your engine will not be able to perform the rotations that will drive your car.

Therefore as soon as you press the accelerator the quantity of gasoline will be more important, So when a concern prevents the replenishment, your engine will stop and you will stall. The injection system is complex and can have various breakdowns that we will quickly list for you. Your car's gas tank is located at the back of the car, so in order to get fuel to the front, the gas pump will collect a certain amount of fuel and send it under pressure to the front of the car.

Therefore if this would be defective , the fuel necessary for your engine will not be provided and you may break down. To replace it, you will need to provide a hundred euros. To avoid introducing residues into the engine fuel is filtered before the injection.

However, when the filter is not replaced frequently enough, then it may gets dirty and restricts the flow of gasoline which will no longer be able to reach the injection system. If you want to know how to maintain this filter, do not hesitate to browse the following tutorial: when to change the Opel Vectra diesel filter. If the booster pump supplies filtered fuel to the injection system, then the latter will be distributed by the injection rail so as to supply the required fuel to each cylinder.

This will then be injected into the combustion chamber by injector. So if a injector is faulty the engine will not be able to run properly, especially when you accelerate. In this case, do not hesitate to browse the following tutorial for more details on this subject: replacement price for Opel Vectra injector.

Finally, in order to connect all the different mechanisms of the supply, gasoline will circulate under pressure by hoses.
